Need to move fast?
After we sold our home about a week after it went up for sale, our real estate agent from another company had been trying to find us a home. We had written several offers and spent week looking, but were unable to get a contract accepted on a home. We were always the fourth or fifth contract in line.
Joyce and I decided to get rid of this agent because he was unsuccessful in getting us a home and were getting desperate since we had to put our belongings in storage and move in with family.
Then we met Joe Wathen. He immediately told us he would help us find a home in Howard County in the Ellicott City area that we would love, and soon.
He was true to his word… within two weeks we found the perfect home. And the only reason were able to get this home is because Joe searched the MLS two to three times a day and had us under contract the first day the home came on the market.
We were the first people to look at the house yet we were not the only buyers to put in offers that night. There were 4 other offers in. With Joe's advice we were able to outbid the second highest bidder but tied with one. But Joe convinced the listing agent to accept ours since we were the first one's in the door. If Joe hadn't brought us through first we would not have gotten the home.
Joe Wathen was always available when we needed to talk to him. Even on vacation he called us back quickly.
He also attended the home inspection. When we needed some work to be done as a result of the inspection, he was able to get the sellers to repair everything on the list. Joe continued to monitor the progress and made sure that everything was completed by settlement.
This is a very tough market and we needed someone who would act fast.
Joe is a very first rate Real Estate Consultant who puts his client's best interest first. He is also very knowledgeable about rates, interest, pricing and everything else that is needed to buy a home.
We have already recommended Joe to our friends and relatives for their real estate needs.

I have been saved from paying high rent!
On September 10, 1999, I went to settlement on a condo in the Village of Montgomery Run. this ended a 9-month search for a new home with Realtor Joe Wathen.
From the beginning, Joe has been a valuable resource in finding a property that was best suited for me. We visited townhomes and condos from Elkridge to Columbia, often going back to the same developement or complex many, many times.
